Pathways for Veterans
San Antonio Pilot Study
Krysus Human Performance & Recovery Partners with Pathways for Veterans
Krysus Human Performance & Recovery and Pathways for Veterans are excited to announce the launch of their new partnership of the Pathways Pilot Study exclusively for veterans in the San Antonio area.
Pathways for Veterans is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to healing the spiritual war wounds of the brave men and women of our military. Their mission is to create a safe environment where all veterans can experience being heard and are given the tools to re-purpose themselves in mind, body and spirit. Their vision is to provide a pathway for our veterans and their families to find new purpose through service to their community and country.
Having chosen to serve our country and protect our way of life, veterans deserve more than just our respect and gratitude, they deserve our support reintegrating back into civilian life. This program is designed to do just that. With Pathways & Krysus’ assistance, veterans can avoid the common pitfalls many experience when making this transition, while also experiencing relief from the symptoms of anxiety, stress, fatigue, insomnia, and chronic pain through the services offered at Krysus’ state-of-the-art human performance and recovery center.

How The Pathways for Veteran’s Program Works
The program is designed to help participants reflect and process emotions, thoughts and patterns of behavior in new ways that help them see themselves and their experiences from a more constructive perspective. This new approach frees the participant from past negative experiences that may have been limiting how they view themselves and their future. The end goal is to create opportunities for participants to have a new outlook on their past and future and in turn pursue the previously untapped potential in their lives and the lives of their family so they can make a positive impact in their community.
With this end in mind, participants will complete the “Pathways Curriculum for Living” combined with Sound and Float Therapy sessions scheduled at Krysus’ state-of-the-art Human Performance and Recovery Center.
Therapy sessions will be twice a week for a four-week period, totaling 8 sessions.
Each Therapy Session Includes
Therapy Session time is 2 1/2 hours
- 15 minutes to complete pre-session documents.
- 45 Minute Sound Therapy and 60 Float Therapy
OR 60 Minute Float Therapy and 45 Minute Sound Therapy. - 15 minutes to complete post-session documents.
